   According to the MEPS-HC for 2011 and 2012, 31.4 percent (84.3 million people) of the under-65 population was uninsured for at least one month during the two-year period (calendar years 2011 and 2012), and 11.7 percent (31.3 million people) was uninsured for the entire two-year period.
